HOT OFF THE PRESS!!

The Market at Serendip is MOVING!

We've just signed a lease on a wonderful new spot in Powell-- one that will give our customers a spacious, charming shopping venue, offstreet parking, and convenience to all the shops you like to browse in Historic Powell. Of course, we'll still be featuring original art, upscale handcrafted items, and serendipitous accessories everywhere you look!

Located at 36 North Liberty Street, the building was originally a flour mill, built in about 1890. After a bit of clean-up and updating, the site will regain some of its original look, with exposed beams, hardwood floor, and wood ceilings. The front porch will be a great place to relax after all your shopping, and the classroom will be the site for some absolutely wonderful classes!

Keep an eye on the blog for updates-- we can hardly wait for you to come shop with us on Liberty Road!

THE LUCKY ONES...

Those of you who weren't fortunate enough to attend our Spa Night doing "kitchen facials" with Angela Buckley of Celtic Naturals REALLY missed out! The lucky attendees experienced everything from great natural cleansing tips, to cucumbers on the eyes and customized blends on the face, to the ultimate finish-- faces that glowed and were truly baby-soft!

Angela also introduced the Celtic Naturals Aviary line (including an exfoliating, fragrance-free coffee soap) and her sports line for athletes and wannabes! Stop in the shop as soon as you can and check out these great organic & natural soaps.

We're pushing Angela to schedule her next spa night very soon, so keep on eye out for the next event-- you too can be one of the lucky ones!

FREE LEMONADE ON JULY 4TH!!

Stop in at The Market at Serendip from 10:00-5:00 on Saturday, 7/4, for a refreshing glass of lemonade. It's a great, thirst-quenching break from parades and celebrations! Plus it will give you a chance to see some fantastic new products!!

Last week, we got our first batch of handmade Just Bubbly soaps. These glycerine soaps include designs like flip-flop shaped soaps, bar soap with dinosaur toys within, and (my personal favorite) puzzle soaps! We also carry teddy bear soaps (great for baby showers) and My Pet Fish, which look just like the carnival prizes you used to win as a kid.

Next, I want to introduce you to Canine Closet! You won't believe the amazing selection of dog clothing and accessories, lovingly handmade by Sue Robinson. Everything from bow ties to dresses (many are reversible!), raincoats to bib overallas, ponchos to shirts-- enough choices that your pup will never wonder what to wear! You'll also find dog-themed accessories-- travel water bottles for your dog, backpacks, and tissue holders in dog-themed fabric. Puppy paradise!
